Modelizer
The Modelizer is the core of InDataX where the communications structure is designed and defined. Unlike other systems that focus solely on variable lists, the Modelizer allows you to create a visual and conceptual hierarchy that faithfully represents your real infrastructure.
Example of a hierarchical architecture with Zones, Things, and Protocols.
Key Concepts
The Modelizer is based on the interconnection of three main elements:
- Zones: Organizational nodes that group other elements and allow navigation.
- Things: Conceptual representations of assets (machines, IoT devices) that unify data from various sources.
- Protocols: The communication engine that defines how and from where information is extracted.
The Connection Graph
In the Modelizer, elements are related to each other through connections. This graph structure allows for:
- Conceptual Organization: You are not limited to folders; you can see how information flows from one element to another.
- Navigability: You can dive into a Zone to see its details, keeping the main view clean and orderly.
- Contextualization: Data is not just a numeric value, but belongs to a specific Thing within a certain Zone.
